It was a couple years between starting the search and actually surprising her. She was on a vacation in Oregon, and while she was gone I built the track. When she got back she met me at the tracks. That is how she found out. Then I told her about the train and we drove out to the Yanke field to go see it.

We had spent almost twenty five years finding ways we were not compatible on projects. This one was a commitment, from me anyway, that we could work together. That we will work together. That we would keep finding ways to work together on them.
