The instructor at BYU-Idaho reached out and asked if I would be interested in talking to the entrepreneurship class and giving them my perspective. I told them what I always tell people. I do not have a speech. But I love answering questions, and that class had plenty of them.
I enjoyed their passion. There were a couple of people in there who were much more interested in engaging and talking, and I had some really good conversations with them. The video part was different. A lot of the room was checked out, and I think that is just what happens when it is a person on a screen instead of a person standing in front of you. I would much rather be in the room.
I am really glad I did it. A few years later I ran into some of the people from that class at an entrepreneurship competition. I think that was pretty dang cool.
